Boxwood Means, Inc. is a Stamford, CT-based real estate research and consulting firm focused on quantitative solutions for clients’ strategic business issues. We work closely with our clients to understand the changes affecting their businesses, and to uncover opportunities that help clients boost profitability and increase value to their customers.
Boxwood was founded in 2003 by veteran analysts, Randy Fuchs and Michaell Taylor. Since that time, the firm has become a respected source of independent analyst insight. We are a leading authority on the small-balance commercial loan space and, in 2010, launched our web site SmallBalance.com where subscribers obtain data and analytics on small commercial properties and markets. Our skills set includes:
- Extensive real estate research expertise.
- Quantitative modeling, optimization and financial risk management capabilities.
- Investment and portfolio analytics.
- REIT analytics.
We have applied this expertise to a broad range of client engagements including small-balance originations research, residential AVM validation studies, proprietary commercial AVM modeling, portfolio risk management, and investment and REIT analytics. We combine our modeling expertise and bottom-up experience along with large investments in national commercial and residential property databases in order to tackle the challenges presented by numerous projects.
We are fortunate to work with some of the industry's leading banks, lenders, investment managers, brokerage and services firms. To review selected client assignments, click here.
